The material won’t flake or crumble, and it can be sanded to restore surface smoothness. The surface is highly heat-reflective with a fast cool-down time. This 3-3/4" diameter Solderite soldering disc fits perfectly into the Heetrix® solder station as a replacement disc or to allow you to customize additional discs for tasks you perform repeatedly.
