Glardon Vallorbe® Needle File Set, Cut #2, Set of 12

This set of Glardon Vallorbe® precision needle files includes an assortment of 12 file shapes and ensures you have the file shape you need for all of your jewelry designs. Each double-cut file allows you to access and refine narrow grooves and surfaces that are unreachable by larger files. This set of needle files includes one of each file shape: three-square, round, square, crochet, knife, oval, half-round, equalling, crossing, barrette, warding, and equalling (round edge).

These files have a Swiss cut #2; Swiss-cut files are graded by the number of teeth, counting teeth perpendicular to the long axis of the file. In all cut styles, the higher the number, the finer its cut. In all cut styles, the higher the number, the finer its cut.

Needle files feature a miniature profile with a shorter cutting surface (typically about half their length) and round, narrow handles. These small files are ideal for working on fine details and in small areas of the workpiece; they're ideal when access and surface finish take priority over metal removal. Though they can be used as-is, securing the file in a handle (available separately) improves control for better precision and tool safety.
