This hammer delivers the combined benefits of a chasing hammer and a riveting hammer, with one round and one chiseled, cross-peen face. The chasing face can be used with other tools such as center punches and chasing, texturing or repoussé tools, and the cross-peen face is ideal for setting rivets.

This hammer was created by fine tool designer Bill Fretz to the custom specifications of master goldsmith Alan Revere. The handle is specially shaped to give you a light touch, and the narrowed neck creates a slight springiness that allows some bounce-back with each strike, improving control and reducing muscle fatigue. This handle is made of Padauk wood, known for its strength, stability and beauty; its black finish distinguishes it as one of the Revere line of hammers. The hammer head is cast from 420-grade stainless steel and tool hardened to 50 HRC for maximum durability and effectiveness.
