Inspirado no trabalho em alto-relevo dos grandes artistas do Renascimento italiano, foi concebido no estilo clássico europeu, com uma face ligeiramente inclinada, cabeça pesada e pescoço fino. Quando usado corretamente, é o peso da cabeça, e não os músculos do seu braço e mão, que impulsiona o movimento descendente desta ferramenta. A face redonda grande destina-se a golpear ferramentas de repuxo ou punções, enquanto a face menor em meia esfera é destinada a repuxar e rebitagem. Concebido por Bill Fretz, este martelo de ourives é construído para resistência e durabilidade. This Fretz® heavy chasing hammer, with one large round face and one smaller half-ball face, is ideally suited to your most substantial work. Inspired by the high-relief work of the great Italian Renaissance artists, it is designed in classic European style, with a slightly tilted face, heavy head and slim neck. When used properly, the weight of the head, rather than the muscles in your arm and hand, drives the downward motion of this tool. The large round face is intended for striking chasing tools or punches, and the smaller half-ball face is intended for peening and riveting.
Designed by Bill Fretz, this jeweler's hammer is built for toughness and durability. The handle is made of Padauk wood, known for its strength, stability and beauty, and is oil-finished; it's specially shaped to give you a light touch, and the thin neck flexes slightly as you hammer for ultimate comfort. The head is cast from 420-grade stainless steel and tool hardened to 50 HRC for maximum hardness and endurance.
