This full-strength rhodium solution from Midas® can be plated directly onto platinum, gold or nickel. With a preliminary nickel plate, you can plate onto silver and copper alloys. With a preliminary copper plate followed by nickel, you can plate this solution onto tin, lead, brass, and bronze alloys. Use with a platinized titanium anode. This one-pint bottle contains 1 gram of rhodium.
Properly prepare surfaces before plating and help eliminate adhesion and other problems when plating with this Midas®acid dip slution dip mix. Acid dip is also used between plating steps to maintain a chemically clean and active surface. Rinse, acid dip, and re-rinse steps are needed after most plating baths and always after electrocleaner. Contains an acid salt compound. Mix with distilled water. 2 oz. dry mix makes one quart acid dip solution.
