LuxArt® Coating Cartridges, Translucent, 5g

This LuxArt® Translucent micro-fine ceramic polymer coating delivers a translucent color that is highly stable. Use LuxArt® color coatings to create jewelry designs with the vibrant colors of resin, the high-polish of enamel and the durability of ceramic—without needing plating equipment or high-temperature kilns. Apply the coating as directed, then set the workpieces into the Invicon CeraLux Light Curing Unit or Twin Dual Lux Light Curing Unit (not included) to cure; curing takes only 15 minutes.

With 35% ceramic content and organic matrix, LuxArt® colors are well suited for creative designs with opaque surfaces. The design material is blue light curing and has a surface hardness of 210 N / mm². After curing, the colors are colorfast and have the feel of enamel. Shape and finish the surface as you like by grinding, sanding and polishing to a bright finish. Finished items are stronger and less fragile than enamels—ideal for high-wear jewelry pieces.

The material is delivered in a 5-gram cartridge and dispensed using the accessory digital dispensing system (not included; ideal for high-production use of the LuxArt® colors). The sealed cartridges allow for easy, direct application and prevent the material from being contaminated, extending its lifetime.

LuxArt® is available in a wide range of standard colors, which can also be mixed with each other to create other colors. The depth of color can be adjusted by layering on your desired number of coats. The material flows easily due to thixotropic materials with no mixing of materials necessary.
