Deze Swanstrom platbektangen (NR1327) zijn ideaal voor het vormen, buigen of rechtmaken van draad en plaatmateriaal; de Delrin® bek-inzetstukken voorkomen beschadiging van het metaaloppervlak. Bij platbektangen zijn beide bekken vlak, met gladde binnenoppervlakken, taps toelopend van het scharnier naar de punt. De bekken zijn vervangbaar, wat de levensduur van het gereedschap verlengt.

These Swanstrom flat-nose pliers (NR1327) are ideal for forming, shaping or straightening wire and sheet stock; the Delrin® jaw inserts eliminate the risk of marring the surface of the metal. On flat-nose pliers, both jaws are flat, with smooth interior surfaces, tapering from the pivot to the tip. The Delrin jaws are made of a proprietary thermoplastic resin that resists interaction with chemicals and protects workpieces. The jaws are replaceable, ensuring the extended life of the tool. • These pliers have an adjustable lap joint; the screw allows the joint to be adjusted as needed. • The double-leaf spring holds the pliers open and ready to use until they are squeezed closed and delivers a fast, strong rebound for improved productivity. • The Soft-Touch™ sure-grip foam handles are longer, wider and ergonomically designed for maximum comfort over extended periods of use. This tool is made of high-carbon, high-chrome alloy steel—the highest quality tool steel—and forged for the best combination of strength and durability. The jaws will not be nicked with normal use and will keep their shape and finish. The anti-glare finish prevents eye strain caused by reflective glare and increases visibility of the workpiece.
