Smith® Acetylene Casting Torch System for Gold and Silver

This heavy-duty torch is designed to efficiently reach the high temperatures needed for melting and casting gold, silver and platinum. The system is 100% flame-tested and inspected and the handle is covered by a lifetime warranty and service agreement from Smith®. The quality handle has internal threads to protect it from damage. The inner gas tube is threaded and soldered to prevent dangerous cross-leaking of the oxygen and fuel. The valve drag adjustment allows you to set the desired amount of resistance on the valves, and the stainless steel ball valves provide long life and positive seating, preventing gas leakage. This torch system has type B-fittings.
