This Fretz® circle texturing hammer has round, narrow faces with recessed centers that create an eye-pleasing circular texture when hammered on soft metals. While almost any hammer can be used to create texture, texturing hammers are specially designed to create attractive and unusual textures on your jewelry designs. The faces feature a design that is transferred to the metal with every strike. One tip makes a 6mm circle and the other makes a 4mm circle.

Designed by Bill Fretz, this jeweler's hammer is built for toughness and durability. The handle is made of Padauk wood, known for its strength, stability and beauty, and is oil-finished; it's specially shaped to give you a light touch, and the thin neck flexes slightly as you hammer for ultimate comfort. Head is cast from 420-grade stainless steel and tool hardened to 50 HRC for maximum durability and effectiveness.
