These Miland® synclastic forming pliers put a punch & die set in the palm of your hand, perfect for shaping synclastic jewelry pieces such as bangle or cuff bracelets, rings and drops or dangles. One jaw features a curved, 5/16”-wide channel; the other jaw features a convex dap-like punch nub sized to fit perfectly inside the channel on the facing jaw. Create smooth, beautifully shaped contours in narrow strips of metal (up to 5/16"). Forming pliers have a variety of jaw configurations designed to maximize the ability to bend, shape or form wire, strip and sheet. They are ideal for creating ring shanks, opposing curves (waves or corrugation), angles and patterns. Designed by Miland Seuss and manufactured to precise specifications by Eurotool, these pliers are ideal for metal-forming, wire-working and a variety of jewelry-making applications.• This substantial tool features a lap joint, in which one half of the joint overlaps the other and a pivot is set through both halves.• The handles are extra long for added leverage, and rubber coated for comfort.
