These precise flush cutters from Xuron® are ideal for delicate applications; the slim, fine-tip head allows access to hard-to-reach spaces and the Micro-Shear® blades are precisely ground to cut accurately in very dense areas. Flush cutters require somewhat more pressure to make a cut than super- or semi-flush cutters. Though more noticeable than that left by the super- or semi-flush, the pinch is still minimal. The straight-blade cutter is effective for standard, light-duty uses.• These cutters have a lap joint; one half of the joint overlaps the other, and a pivot is set through both halves.• Molded plastic, non-slip grips ensure comfort and security during use, even over extended work periods.Ball-bearing quality, high-carbon/high-chrome alloy steel is the highest-quality tool steel and produces the longest-lasting cutters; these tools can be hardened up to 65 HRC. Forging offers the best combination of strength and durability; the jaws will not be nicked with normal use and keep their shape and finish well over time.Xuron® cutters are made from induction-hardened tool steel for exceptionally long service.
