These Wubbers® medium oval-mandrel forming pliers have two different-sized jaws, giving you the flexibility to create smooth, even oval loops in two sizes—0.3" x 0.2" (7.5 x 5mm) or 0.24" x 0.16" (6 x 4mm). These pliers are great for making oval jump rings and components; it is best used with dead-soft wire up to 14 gauge (sheet up to 22 gauge). The durable, rust-resistant stainless steel delivers reasonable life and good value; the matte finish helps reduce eye fatigue.• These pliers have a lap joint; one half of the joint overlaps the other, and a pivot is set through both halves.• The double-leaf spring consists of flat, tempered metal tabs attached to the inside of each of the tool handles, positioned to meet and hold the handles apart (and the jaws open) until they are squeezed closed, delivering a fast, strong rebound for improved productivity.• The handles are angled to give you a more powerful grip; the padded, non-slip, suede-textured grips provide comfort and reduce hand fatigue.
