Responsibilities

• Post-sale account management
  • Own the customer relationship including all customer interaction and communications from the moment the sale is closed to the successful delivery and launch of the services and ongoing support.

  • Analyze web analytics reports and make recommendations for web site optimization.
  • Develop best practice guidelines for content development and web design to achieve best possible conversion rates including visitor behavior and A/B testing.

Ideal Experience

• 3+ years of web consulting, client service, e-commerce, or online marketing experience.
• Prior experience developing and executing online marketing projects.
• Familiarity with online statistical concepts and analytical tools.
• Experience in information design with a specialization in the internet.
• Technical understanding of internet technologies such as HTML, and JavaScript.
• Junior manager / in charge of client services.
• BA/BS required.

The position of Director of Marketing and Communications reports to the SVP Marketing and Business Development at Amadesa.

Responsibilities:

• Marketing strategy (building plans for lead generation)
• Competitor and partner analysis, including insight into their positioning, branding, and value propositions
• Work closely with sales and product management to develop collateral and sales materials
• Campaign planning and execution (online, email, direct mail, etc)
• Develop messaging and positioning for company and products, including analysis of market segment focus, competitive differentiation, business definition, etc.
• Ensure consistency of branding, messaging, and positioning throughout the website and keep up-to-date with dynamic content to drive sales
• Communicate strategy and messaging to industry analysts, thought leaders, etc.
• Develop brand strategy
• Develop product and service pricing, taking into account competitive landscape and offerings
• Plan, execute, manage and analyze online marketing campaigns
• Prepare marketing materials for product launches

 

Education and experience:

Qualified Candidates will have broad marketing / marcom experience in multiple channels – preferably in a B2B environment. 

• Bachelor’s degree required. MBA strongly preferred
• Experience conducting online marketing campaigns in B2B setting
• Experience managing and developing employees
• Should have experience in (or a strong understanding of) in ecommerce. 
• Prior experience with a technology company is preferred.
• Need to have excellent writing and verbal communication skills. 
• Need to be able to work autonomously. 
• Need to be able to build a team over time, but be very hands-on in the early days.
